Garlic Bread, 6-spices Chicken, Crab Laksa, 32’s Fruit Punch

Review

Food

I LOVE the garlic bread – the best I ever had. Foods are western-oriental fusion. Very high quality and well presented. The chicken taste special – very well done on fusing the oriental Hainan chicken style with the western grill. The crab laksa was simple and the broth was rich and thick.

Felt pampered with the food! The fruit punch was ok only.

Service

Ok-lar… Not as good as expected for this high-end fine-dining place – we expected the service to be equal or better than a 5-star hotel.

Environment

Really really very nice ambient. It was decently decorated for Christmas. So far the best ambient among all the restaurants I have been to in Penang, including the 5-star hotel’s. (Pricing too J)

Toilet

Cool… Romantic J

Parking

Ample free parking with sea-view J

Green Tea Cheese Cake 800GM

Review

Food

Truly homemade, very special. The green tea blended really well with the cheese – made with layers of chiffon cake and green tea cheese. Homemade taste that would made you feel warm..

Service

Superb. My hubby ordered it on our anniversary and have them to deliver to my office – as a surprise. They waited for me for 30minute as they can’t reach me on mobile – I was away from my desk without mobile phone.

Variety of sushi, hand rolls

Review

Food

Sushi made to order!! Fresh, yummy… price compatible with sushi-king but quality was by far better. The seaweed sheet used was still very crispy – compared to sushi-king which is always softened already.

Service

Satisfactory. The waitress and waiters were quite humorous. Very responsive.

Environment

Cool. Higher-end Japanese restaurant ambient. Comfortable seating, privacy friendly and great for small group get-together/chit chatting J

Toilet

Opss. Forgot to visit. But don’t think they have toilet within the restaurant.

Parking

Mid Valley parking lot. Weekend normal parking RM3. The petrol wasted driving around looking for carpark should make it justifiable for Jockey parking RM7.

Dragon roll, spider roll, California roll, Vege Tempura

Review

Food

Didn’t use Japanese rice – the sushi doesn’t taste ‘sushi’, but like you are taking a bite of regular Chinese rice + dish.. The tempura dip Tentsuyu was just regular soy sauce which is too salty. Disappointing.

Service

Sucks. We waited for very long and then saw the waitress serving the other table first. When asked, the lady that looked like the boss was so arrogant, not even a simple sorry was mention.

Environment

2 shoplots wide. They are trying to save electricity so only one aircond was on for the whole restaurant. Sweating..

Toilet

Normal. Boleh tahan.

Parking

Free by the roadside.
